मामले की सच्चाई जानने के लिए टाइम्स ऑफ इंडिया ने दोनों अभ्यर्थियों और उनके परिवार से संपर्क साधने की कोशिश की और दोनों ही लड़कियों का यह दावा है कि यह रैंकिंग उनकी है. आयशा फातिमा देवास की रहने वाली है उसके पिता ने बताया कि उनकी बेटी ने इंटरव्यू पास कर यह रैंकिंग हासिल की है. वहीं अलीराजपुर की रहने वाली आयशा मकरानी के भाई ने बताया है कि उनकी बहन ने परीक्षाा पास की है. आयशा मकरानी और आयशा फातिमा दो एडमिट कार्ड दिखा रही हैं उसपर रोल नंबर एक ही अंकित है. हालांकि आयोग द्वारा जारी रिजल्ट में आयशा फातिमा का नाम दर्ज है.
